Software Engineer - Work Study
Sep 2024 - Present
Started as an intern where I launched the migration from a monolithic backend to Kubernetes microservices. Furthermore, led the implementation of a High Availability Kubernetes cluster for the microservices. Optimized API performance, achieving ca. 15% faster queries to the image editing service. Build APIs with Go, manage containers via Docker, and handle service communication using RabbitMQ and gRPC. Work daily with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. Internship project received a grade of 9.6 out of 10, showcasing exceptional performance. Continue to lead this project while finishing my degree.
